An Ensemble Practice for Multi-Generational Wealth

Palmer Wealth Group™ is an ensemble advisory practice in Fort Worth, Texas. We serve families whose wealth carries responsibility — business owners preparing for transitions, corporate executives navigating complex compensation, professional practice owners, and multigenerational families with obligations to the people who depend on them. We are devoted to what these families have built, and to every generation that follows.

Why We Built Palmer Wealth Group™

Seventy percent of family wealth is gone by the second generation. Ninety percent is gone by the third.¹

These are not failures of investment performance. They are failures of coordination, preparation, and stewardship — failures to connect today’s decisions to their consequences across decades, and to treat wealth as what it is: a resource entrusted to people who bear responsibility for the lives it sustains.

Palmer Wealth Group™ was founded in Fort Worth by Luke Palmer — an advisor serving families since 2008 — to produce a different outcome: a coordinated team of specialists whose incentives are aligned with one another and with each family’s long-term wellbeing, rather than an individual advisor forced to be a generalist across every dimension of a family’s financial life.

Devoted to what families build serving every generation that follows.

Every decision the practice makes is measured against a single question: does it help what a family has built endure — to serve the people who depend on it, across every generation that follows? If the answer is no, it does not belong here.

Vision, Mission, and Values

Three commitments that shape how we hire, how we serve, and how we hold one another accountable.

Vision

What families build will serve every generation that follows — not only their wealth, but the wisdom, structures, and relationships that give it meaning.

Mission

We serve families whose wealth carries responsibility — coordinating specialist expertise across investment stewardship, comprehensive planning, business transition, and legacy preservation so that the families in our care are genuinely well served, not for a quarter or a year, but across generations.

Values

FAITHFUL STEWARDSHIP — Wealth is entrusted to us. Our responsibility extends beyond investment performance to the full scope of a family’s financial life.

STRENGTH IN COORDINATION — Six specialized roles, one corporate book, one shared standard of care.

UNWAVERING INTEGRITY — When a course of action would benefit the practice but not the family, we decline it.

WISDOM AND DISCERNMENT — Wisdom over novelty. Sound counsel over impressive solutions. Getting it right over getting it first.

GENERATIONAL FAITHFULNESS — Faithfulness is not measured in quarters. It is measured in generations.

A family well served across decades — whose wealth is preserved, whose plans are sound, whose transitions are handled with care, and whose children are prepared for the responsibility they will inherit — is the only testimony that matters.

An Architecture Built for Coordinated Care

Families with complex wealth face decisions that span disciplines and generations. No single advisor can serve them with the depth each requires. Our practice is built on three pillars.

Two Coordinated Teams

A PRIVATE WEALTH team for the ongoing stewardship of each family’s financial life. A COMMERCIAL WEALTH team for the business-owning dimension. Client relationships belong to the team, not to individual advisors — so families receive unified counsel from specialists who communicate constantly, not handoffs between disconnected providers.

The Integrated Wealth Framework

Wealth that endures requires the coordination of every professional who serves the family — legal, tax, insurance, business transition. Our proprietary framework brings independent outside specialists into structured coordination with our advisory teams through the INTEGRATED WEALTH ALLIANCE.

Investment Stewardship

Portfolio work governed by disciplined methodology, proprietary models built specifically for the families we serve, and access to the full Commonwealth Financial Network® platform. Every account is managed for its purpose.

The Team

An ensemble practice led by a founder with nearly two decades of experience serving families, with a specialist team being assembled in Fort Worth now.

Luke Palmer, CFP®, AAMS®, CRPS®, AWMA®

Founder, Owner, Chief Executive Officer, and Chief Investment Officer. An advisor serving families since 2008. Luke designs the practice’s proprietary portfolio models, conducts ongoing manager research and due diligence, and leads the assembly of the Palmer Wealth Group™ team.

The Ensemble Model

Six specialized roles across two coordinated teams. PRIVATE WEALTH — Wealth Advisor, Wealth Manager, Wealth Planner — for the ongoing stewardship of each family’s financial life. COMMERCIAL WEALTH — Exit Planning Advisor, Retirement Plan Advisor, Integrated Wealth Alliance Advisor — for the business-owning dimension. Client relationships belong to the team, not to individual advisors.

Institutional Infrastructure

Palmer Wealth Group™ is affiliated with COMMONWEALTH FINANCIAL NETWORK®. Commonwealth provides the technology, compliance, and specialist research infrastructure that stands behind our work. Our advisory approach is our own.
