Investment Stewardship and Comprehensive Planning, Coordinated as One
Palmer Wealth Group™ serves business owners, executives, and multigenerational families through two disciplines working together — the ongoing stewardship of investments through proprietary methodology, and comprehensive planning across the many domains a family’s wealth touches.
A Codified Approach to Portfolio Construction
Palmer Wealth Group’s Chief Investment Officer designs and maintains every proprietary portfolio the practice manages. Managers are selected through quantitative screening on risk-adjusted metrics, followed by qualitative review of each candidate’s holdings, process, and security selection. Allocations are set through robust mean-variance optimization — refined for the return characteristics of each investment type rather than applied as a single formula across all asset classes.
Portfolios are rebalanced semi-annually within tolerance bands calibrated to account type, and every underlying position is reviewed on a rolling monthly cycle. The proprietary methodology anchors the practice’s investment work, but does not exhaust it. Through Palmer Wealth Group’s affiliation with Commonwealth Financial Network®, the Wealth Manager can extend a family’s portfolio into separately managed accounts, alternative investments, private-market opportunities, structured products, and other strategies when a family’s situation calls for them. What’s codified is the discipline; what’s tailored is each family’s implementation of it.
A Plan for Every Family, Written for the Family
The comprehensive financial plan is the central artifact of Palmer Wealth Group’s private wealth engagement — the analytical foundation that guides every recommendation the practice makes. Each plan is authored by the Wealth Planner, addressing retirement, tax, estate, insurance, education, and executive benefits. Professional planning software models scenarios, stress-tests assumptions, and illustrates trade-offs so families can make informed decisions.

Once written, the plan becomes the reference the entire team returns to. The Wealth Planner leads the annual comprehensive review, the Wealth Manager leads the quarterly investment review, and both coordinate with commercial-side specialists when a family’s business situation intersects with the personal wealth work. What each family receives is their own plan, tailored to their situation. What we deliver is the ongoing discipline of keeping the plan and the portfolio aligned.
One Team, Not Five
Palmer Wealth Group’s private wealth engagement is one advisory relationship, not many. The Wealth Manager, the Wealth Planner, and the specialists coordinated through the Integrated Wealth Alliance all work from the same plan, the same information, and the same shared understanding of what a family is trying to accomplish.
The Wealth Manager knows what the Wealth Planner is modeling in the plan. The Wealth Planner knows what the Wealth Manager is implementing in the portfolio. When outside specialists are engaged, they receive the family’s context from a single point of coordination rather than reconstructing it from scattered emails and disconnected meetings. The coordination is the discipline the practice is built around — and is central to how Palmer Wealth Group™ works with families facing complex situations.
The Stewardship of What Families Build
Faithful Stewardship is one of Palmer Wealth Group’s core values, and it shapes every dimension of the practice’s work. Investment stewardship is one expression of it. Comprehensive planning is another. The coordination between them is the third.
DEVOTED TO WHAT FAMILIES BUILD SERVING EVERY GENERATION THAT FOLLOWS — the intent that runs through every engagement. Not simply to protect an account balance through a market cycle, but to steward a family’s full wealth across the transitions that define a family’s arc through generations. That is why the practice was built the way it was, and why the coordination between disciplines matters as much as the disciplines themselves.
